• Precise Geolocation (GPS): We collect your real-time location data. This is strictly required for our Geofencing technology to verify when you are physically present at an NB Easy Drive Swap Hub to authorize battery exchanges, and to track our vehicles for anti-theft purposes.
• Device Information: IP address, browser type, operating system, and app usage metrics.

C. Financial & Payment Information

We do not directly store your credit card or UPI details. All transactions are securely processed through our authorized third-party payment gateway (PayU). We only store transaction IDs, payment statuses, and invoice records.

D. Customer Support & Communications

Chat logs, WhatsApp messages, complaint descriptions, and images uploaded for vehicle damage/maintenance reports.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to operate and improve our services, specifically to:

• Verify Your Identity: Process your KYC documents to legally authorize you to rent our vehicles.
• Provide the Service: Facilitate vehicle bookings, subscription renewals, and battery swaps.
• Ensure Safety & Security: Track fleet vehicles to prevent theft and use location data to unlock battery swaps only when you are at an authorized hub.
• Process Payments: Calculate billing, apply promotional discounts, process refunds, and generate tax invoices.
• Communicate: Send OTPs for secure login, payment confirmations, low-battery alerts, and promotional broadcasts via WhatsApp.

4. How We Share Your Information

• Encryption: All KYC documents and selfies are encrypted and securely stored.
• Authentication: We use secure, passwordless OTP (One-Time Password) logins to prevent unauthorized account access.
• Data Retention: We retain your KYC and rental history for as long as your account is active, or as required by Indian transportation and tax laws (typically up to 5-7 years). If you request account deletion, we will anonymize or delete your data, except for records we are legally mandated to keep.
